• It consists of:

    DIDACTIC PROGRAMMINGwith activities of different disciplines. They will reflect what you learn (content), how you learn (methodology), how you use what you learn (skills) and how you evaluate what has been learned and practiced, to improve (evaluation).

    DIDACTIC GUIDEthat will allow teachers to guide the student in carrying out these activities and will offer references, which can be adapted or developed with autonomy and creativity by teachers.


  • It consists of:

    The purpose is to train and convert students into an agent of change, which promotes the care and recovery of the local river

    The material will offer actions with different levels of involvement, from a low level to a more challenging level.


  • The DOCUMENT will contain:

    1.Generalities of the transition and analysis of the change of educational stage.
    2.The river element as a backbone and source of cooperation between both types of centers.
    3.Protocol of activities based on the river.

    Each educational center will organize a “Methodological Update Meeting” aimed at teachers of lower cycles, to share the teaching materials developed in the IO1, promote communication between teachers of both educational stages and coordinate the planned activities with students.

Pedagogical day of dissemintation of the project of Educational innovation: “The rivers as a space for participatory learning and educational transit”

Learning Teaching Training Activities

LTTA 1: (Spain) Training event for teachers:

✘ -> Duration: 3 days

  • Innovative methodologies (project learning, service learning …)
  • To share the results of the methodological update meeting aimed at non-partner teachers
  • Study the work coordination strategy with teachers from another educational stage.

LTTA 2: (Portugal) Exchange of student groups

✘ -> PARTICIPANTS: 34 (15 of each educational center)

It will be a practical and participatory experience, which will allow students to:

  • Know the possibilities offered by other river environments
  • Acquire skills that allow you to accompany the educational transit stage, to other students.
  • Assess and expand the perspective of river environments
  • Assume leadership roles (“river ambassador”) both inside and outside the school.

✘ -> Each country will present to the rest of the participants, the most relevant aspects of its river environment, the diversity and complexity of the river, from a specific approach.

✘ -> Field visit to the Portuguese river environment and consensus to start working on common aspects that should appear in the videos (IO4) “The river, our teacher”

✘ -> Impressions will be exchanged on teaching activities implemented by teachers in different countries: Teaching material (IO1), Guide for river ambassadors (IO2), Educational transit guide (IO3) Leader: Este Profissional de Alte

LTTA 3: (Italy): Training event for teachers:

✘ -> Duration: 3 days

✘ -> Number of participants: 5 teachers from each educational center and 2 from FLC and eco & eco

✘ -> Objective: to achieve an integral vision of the river’s potential as an integrating factor in learning and as an opportunity to use different methodologies.

✘ -> Contents:

  • Social learning: strategies for municipal participation in the generation of initiatives (citizenship and school).
  • River spaces as educational resources for learning: urban and natural aspects of the river ecosystem.
  • Share the work done so far and unify criteria for the development of IO5.
